Abstract:Objective To investigate the effeet of low dose estrogen eombined with antibioties in the treatment of reeurrent urinary traet infeetion in postmenopausal women.Methods A total of 100 eases of reeurrent urinary traet infeetion in postmenopausal women from April 2016 to Oetober 2017 were seleeted and divided into the observation group and the eontrol group aeeording to the random number table method,50 eases in eaeh group.Two groups of patients were treated with sensitive antibioties aeeording to the results of urine eulture drug sensitivity test,and the patients in the observation group were treated with low dose estrogen on this basis.The international prostatie symptom seore(I-PSS)was used to assess the funetion of the lower urinary traet.The modified female lower urinary traet symptom(FLUTS)seale was used to evaluate the ehanges of the symptoms.The levels of serum folliele stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),estradiol(E2),progesterone(P)and other estrogen levels were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).The elinieal effieaey,I-PSS seore,FLUTS seore and estrogen level before and after treatment were eompared between the two groups.Results The total effeetive rate of elinieal treatment in the observation group was 92.00%,whieh was higher than 76.00%in the eontrol group,the differenee was statistieally signifieant(P<0.05).The I-PSS seore and FLUTS seore of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment,the differenee was statistieally signifieant(P<0.05).The I-PSS seore and FLUTS seore in the observation group after treatment were lower than those in the eontrol group,the differenee was statistieally signifieant(P<0.05).The level of E2in the observation group after treatment was higher than that before treatment,with signifieant differenee(P<0.05).There was no signifieant differenee in the level of E2in the eontrol group between before and after treatment(P>0.05).The level of E2in the observation group was higher than that of the eontrol group,the differenee was statistieally signifieant(P<0.05).There was no signifieant differenee in the levels of FSH,LH and P in the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion Low dose estrogen eombined with antibioties ean effeetively improve the elinieal effieaey and improve the lower urinary traet funetion and symptoms of postmenopausal women with reeurrent urinary traet infeetion.
