Abstract:ObjectiveTo study the clinical effect of retroperitoneoscope combined with lower abdominal incision in the treatment of patients with renal pelvic cancer. Methods From January 2013 to January 2016,42 patients with renal pelvic cancer in our department were randomly divided into group A and group B,21 cases in each group. In group A,retroperitoneoscope combined with lower abdominal incision was used, while in group B,open radical resection for the renal pelvic carcinoma was performed. The surgical results and complications were compared between the two groups. After 1 year follow up visits, the recurrence and metastasis of tumors were observed in the two groups. Results The operations of the two groups were all successful. However, the intraoperative amount of bleeding, time of gastrointestinal recovery, and hospital stay were lower/shorter in group A compared with group B,with statistical differences(P<0.01).There were no significant differences in the incidence of postoperative complications or tumor recurrence and metastasis rate between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Combination of retroperitoneoscope combined with lower abdominal incision has the advantages of small trauma, few complications, and little amount of bleeding.
