Abstract:ObjectiveTo comprehensively analyze the clinical effect of intensive Insulin pump therapy in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and its influence on blood glucose fluctuation.MethodsA total of 80 patients with type 2 diabetes treated in our hospital from July 2015 to July 2017 were selected as the subjects,and randomly divided into experimental group(short-term intensive Insulin pump therapy)and control group(routine subcutaneous injection of Insulin),40 cases in each group.The standard deviation of blood glucose before and after treatment,the average range of blood glucose fluctuation,the glycosylated hemoglobin,Insulin resistance index,the time of blood glucose reaching the standard,and the dose of Insulin on reaching the standard were analyzed.ResultsBefore treatment,the standard deviation of blood glucose and average blood glucose fluctuation in the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05).After therapy,the standard deviation and the average range of blood glucose fluctuation were significantly lower in the experimental group than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the experimental group,the time of blood glucose reaching the standard was significantly shorter compared with that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The Insulin dose in the experimental group was significantly less than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The glycosylated hemoglobin and Insulin resistance index in the experimental group were greatly lower in comparison of those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionThe clinical effect of intensive Insulin pump therapy in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus is remarkable.
