Abstract：Objective To analyze the application value of multi-slice spiral CT in a low-dose scanning technique in the diagnosis of rib fractures.Methods A total of 50 patients with rib fractures who were diagnosed at our hospital from February 1st,2017 to February 1st,2018 were selected as the subjects.All patients underwent multi-slice spiral CT in a low-dose scanning and chest digital X-ray radiography were performed.The image quality and diagnostic accuracy obtained by the two inspection methods were compared.Results There was no statistic difference in image quality scores of the whole lung,upper lung,middle lung and lower lung obtained by low-dose multi-slice spiral CT and by chest digital X-ray radiography technique (P＞0.05).The diagnostic accuracy of low-dose multi-slice spiral CT(96.00%)was higher than that of chest digital X-ray radiography technique (70.00%),the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The multi-slice spiral CT in a low-dose scanning technique for rib fractures has high accuracy.
