Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of family-based complementary health education nursing in children with fever.Methods From February 2017 to February 2018,86 children with fever in our hospital were enrolled in our hospital.The childrens were divided into two groups by odd/even number,43 cases in each grouo.Pediatric childrens in the control group were received routine nursing intervention,while in the experimental group,they were provided with family-based complementary health education nursing intervention.Results The mastery of the children in the experimental group on the correct treatment of pediatric fever,treatment of fever at preliminary stage,rational selection of antipyretic drugs,reasonable measures to bring down body temperature,and body temperature measurement were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05).In the experimental group,the scores of nursing quality such as service attitude,ward environment,management normativeness,timely service,comprehensive quality and total score were higher than those of the control group,the differences were the statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Children with fever and their families provided with family-based on complementary health education as a nursing intervention can promote the treatment and nursing methods of children′s families to master the disease and improve pediatric therapeutic effect children,which is worthy of popularization and application.
