Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of targeted nursing in children with pneumonia. Methods A total of 45 children with pneumonia admitted to our hospital from December 2014 to October 2015 were selected. They were divided into control group(n=22)and observation group(n=23)by a random comprehensive sequential method. In the control group, routine care for pneumonia was used, while in the observation group, targeted nursing was adopted. The nursing effect was compared in the two groups. Results The duration of fever bringing down in the observation group was(2.1±0.3)d and hospital stay was(4.5±1.0)d,significantly shorter than that in the control group([4.9±0.4]d and[8.7±2.3]d respectively),which was displayed statistical significance(P<0.05).The totla effectiveness rate in the observation group was 95.65%,significantly higher than that in the control group accounting for 72.73%,with a significant difference(P<0.05).The total satisfaction of nursing from patients and families in the observation group was 100%,significantly higher than that of the control group accounting for 77.27%with a statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion For pediatric pneumonia, application of targeted nursing has the advantages of rapid fever reduction, obvious symptom relief, and remarkable effect, which is beneficial to increasing nursing satisfaction. It is worthy of further exploration and promotion in clinical practice.
