Abstract:objectiveTo compare the effect of closed reduction and intramedullary nail fixation in lateral position and supine position in the treatment of femoral shaft fracture.MethodsA total of 82 cases of femoral shaft fracture treated in our hospital from January 2013 to December 2016 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different positions during the operation,42 patients with supine position were selected as supine position group,40 cases of lateral lying position were used as lateral position group. The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, intraoperative fluoroscopy time, hospitalization time and fracture healing time were observed and compared between the two groups.ResultsThe operation time of the lateral decubitus position was significantly shorter than that in supine position group, the amount of bleeding was significantly lesser than the lateral decubitus position in supine position group, lateral position group postoperative complication was significantly lower than the supine position group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);time of hospitalization and the lateral decubitus position in supine position group and healing time of fracture, the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).1 years of follow-up,compared with two groups of joint function excellent rate, the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).ConclusionIn the surgical treatment of femoral shaft fracture, closed reduction and intramedullary nailing fixation in lateral decubitus is effective and easy to confirm, with small trauma, short operative time and short operative time, which is suitable for clinical application.
