Effects of Baixian Xiatare Tablets in the adjuvant treatment of acne

Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of Baixian Xitare Tablets in the adjuvant treatment of acne and its repair effect of skin barrier function in patients.Methods A total of 100 patients with acne treated in People′s Hospital of Fogang County from July 2016 to July 2017 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into two groups by the envelope random grouping method,50 cases in each group.The patients in the control group were treated with red and blue light radiation.The patients in the observation group were further given Baixian Xiatare Tablets based on the control group.The clinical symptom scores,treatment safety,total efficacy,skin oils and epidermal water loss(TEWL)were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The types of skin lesions,number of skin lesions,flushing and burning score were of the observation group were all lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of skin oil,TEWL and adverse reactions in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Baixian Xiatare Tablets for the patients with acne can reduce the incidence rate of adverse reactions,improve flushing,skin lesions and other symptoms,improve the overall efficacy,and improve skin oils and TEWL.
