Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of early intervention of pelvic floor muscle exercise combined with neurological reconstruction on constipation after vaginal delivery. Methods 240 cases of puerpera with a history of constipation who delivered in our hospital were selected from December 2015 to March 2016.According to the random number table method, the patients were divided into observation group and control group,120 patients in each groups.Patients in the control group were given neurological reconstruction according to clinical experience.Patients in the observation group were further given pelvic floor muscle reconstruction on the basis of the control group. The first defecation time and constipation symptom score(clinical experience table, out of 10 points)were recorded and statistically analyzed in both groups.Postpartum defecation comfort questionnaire(centesimal system)was used to investigate the defecation status of the patients. Results The time of first defecation was(7.3±2.2)days in the observation group and(12.9±3.6) days in the control group, the difference was significant(t=14.540,P=0.000).The constipation scores in the observation group was(9.7±0.8)scores,and the control group was(5.3±1.4)scores,the difference was significant(t=29.892,P=0.000). The defecation comfort scores before the treatment in the observation group was(81.2±9.8)scores,significantly higher than that of(54.9±10.9)before the treatment(t=19.655,P=0.000),the difference was significant compared with that of (58.5±10.7)scores in control group during the same period(t=17.138,P=0.000).Conclusion The clinical effect of early intervention of pelvic floor muscle exercise combined with neurological reconstruction on constipation after vaginal delivery is significant and worthy of widespread application.
