Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of postpartum rehabilitation exercise combined with Kegel exercises for prevention of postpartum constipation.Methods 100 cases of postpartum rehabilitation in Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of our hospital were selected and randomly divided into two groups by random number table,50 cases each.Patients of the control group were given routine rehabilitation training,the specific content,guide the maternal high leg walking,squat stand,kick movement action and supine leg lift,climbing bicycle movements such as the postpartum health care and abdominal massage in self standing,and the study group were treated more with Kegel exercises on the basis of the control group.Maternal postpartum rehabilitation exercise in the first week and third weeks of defecation frequency,the total effective rate and recurrence were compared.Results Compared with the control group,frequency of defecation in the study group was higher at 1 and 3 weeks after postpartum rehabilitation exercise (P<0.05);the total efficiency of postpartum rehabilitation exercise of the study group was 96%,was higher than 76% of control group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);total recurrence rate of constipation within 120 days after exercise of the study group was 6.00%,was lower than 26.00% of control group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Kegel exercise combined with postpartum rehabilitation exercise can significantly improve the number of maternal defecation, and reduce the recurrence rate,with significant effect,which has guiding significance for clinical and is worth of promoting.
