Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of kangaroo nursing intervention on pain degree of full-term newborns during the process of BCG vaccination.Methods100 newborns who were admitted to our hospital from January 2016 to June 2017 were selected as the experimental subjects. All full-term newborns were divided into groups according to the odd and even number method;control group (50 cases):during BCG vaccination, conventional nursing mode was carried out;observation group(50 cases):during BCG vaccination, kangaroo nursing mode was carried out;through NIPS(neonatal pain rating scale),the pain degree during the process of BCG vaccination in newborns was evaluated clinically, and the crying conditions of the two groups of newborns were analyzed. In addition, the blood oxygen saturation levels and heart rate levels were retrospectively analyzed in both groups.ResultsThe pain scores of full-term newborns in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the level of heart rate in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the level of oxygen saturation in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The duration of neonatal crying in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionDuring the preparation process of BCG vaccination in full-term newborns, the kangaroo nursing model can make a full guarantee for the relief of pain degree and maintenance of physiological balance, thereby enhancing the satisfaction degree of BCG vaccination in newborn's family.
