Abstract:Objective To compare the clinical effect and safety of transanal modified Soave and transabdominal surgery treating Hirschsprung disease. Methods 100 children with Hirschsprung disease treated in our hospital from January 2014 to June 2017 were selected and they were randomly divided into the control group(50 cases)and the observation group (50 cases),and abdominal surgery and transanal modified Soave was performed respectively. The operation time, gastrointestinal function recovery time, hospitalization time, defecation function and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time, the recovery time of gastrointestinal function and hospitalization time in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05).The proportion of fully autonomous stool in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the proportion of fecal manure was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications of the observation group was 6.0%,which was significantly lower than that of the control group(28.0%) (P<0.05).Conclusion Transanal modified Soave is more effective and safe in the treatment of congenital giant colon. It can be used as the first choice for congenital giant colon.
