The clinical curative effect of oral repair therapy in the treatment of congenital missing teeth patients

Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical curative effect of oral repair therapy in the treatment of congenital missing teeth patients.MethodsFrom April 2016 to April 2017,78 patients with congenital missing teeth in our hospital were selected as the research object,all patients were given oral rehabilitation therapy,including routine examination,treatment plan,orthodontic treatment and repair treatment.The masticatory and language function scores,aesthetic satisfaction degree were compared before and after treatment,and the effect of oral rehabilitation therapy was analyzed.ResultsIn 78 patients,32 cases were cured,24 cases were markedly effective,18 cases were effective,4 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 94.87%.The scores of language function and masticatory function after treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment,with significant difference(P<0.05).The aesthetic satisfaction degree after treatment was 93.59%,which was higher than 39.74%before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionThe effect of oral repair therapy is significant in the treatment of congenital missing teeth,which can significantly improve the patient′s oral function,improve the appearance of the teeth,and effectively improve the patient′s satisfaction,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
