Abstract:Objective To investigate the influence of Huayu Tonggu Powder on the healing of upper limb closed fracture and the adverse reaction.Methods A total of 120 patients with upper limb closed fracture treated in department of Orthopedics and Traumatology from January 2016 to June 2017 were collected.The patients were divided into control group (n=60) and observation group (n=60) using the random number table method.The patients in control group were treated by conventional manual reduction splint while the patients in observation group treated by Huayu Jiegu Powder for external application based on the treatment of the control group.Treatment cycles were 45 days.Clinical curative effect in the two groups were observed,and fracture healing time,limb pain,swelling degree score,X-ray examination results after the 1st,3rd,5th,7th,9th week operation and adverse reactions of patients in the two groups were observed.Results After 45 days of treatment,the total effective rate was 95.0% in the observation group,which was significantly higher than that in the control group (85.0%) (P<0.05).The X-ray score of patients in observation group were obviously higher than those of control group after the 5th,7th,9th week operation (P<0.05).The healing time of fracture in observation group was significantly shorter than that of control group (P<0.05).During the course of treatment,9 cases of adverse reactions occurred in observation group,its main manifestation was skin itching,after treatment,symptoms disappeared,and it did not produce adverse effects on the results.Conclusion The clinical treatment of upper limb closed fracture can shorten the healing time of fracture and improve the X-ray score,and reduce the adverse reaction,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
