Abstract:ObjectiveTo study effect of nerve blocking in the prevention of pulmonary infection after hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery.Methods92 patients treated in our Department of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery from February 2014 to February 2016 were divided into study group and control group according to preoprerative intercostal nerve block,46 cases in each group.Patients in the study group were given intercostal nerve block before cutting skin, patients in the control group were injected muscle Flurbiprofen 50 mg when they felt painful.Postoperative respiratory function index (R,SpO2,V,FEV1),postoperative analgesia effect score and incidence rate of postoperative pulmonary infection between two groups were compared.ResultsThere was no significant difference of value of R,SpO2,V,FEV1before and after surgery in the study group (P>0.05),while in the control group,R value after surgery was higher than that before surgery, and value of SpO2、V、FEV1after surgery was lower than that before surgery, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).And analgesia effect score in the study group was significantly better than that in the control group (P<0.01).Incidence rate of postoperative pulmonary infection in the study group(6.52%)was also significantly lower than that in the control group(26.09%)(χ2=6.45,P<0.05).ConclusionNerve block in the patient underwent hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery can relieve pain, prevent respiratory function weakening and reduce incidence of postoperative pulmonary infection effectively, therefore promote patients′recovery.
