Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the effect of abdominal ultrasonography in the diagnosis of neonatal necrotizing enterocolitis(NEC).Methods60 cases of neonatal necrotizing enterocolitis in our hospital from January 2015 to January 2016 were selected as the research object.According to the modified Bell-NEC classification criteria, all patients were divided into the suspected group and the confirmed group,30 cases in each group.Abdominal X-ray and abdominal ultrasonography were performed in two groups, and the results were compared.ResultsIn the suspected group, the detection rate of the intestinal wall pneumatosis and portal venous gas with abdominal ultrasound examination was higher than that with abdominal X-ray,with significant difference(P<0.05).In addition, there were 12 cases(40.00%)of intestinal peristalsis slowed down in abdominal ultrasonography, and intestinal peristalsis disappeared in 5 cases (16.67%),and ascites was found in 8 cases(26.67%).In the diagnosis group, the detection rate of the intestinal wall pneumatosis and portal venous gas with abdominal ultrasound examination was higher than that with abdominal X-ray,with significant difference (P<0.05).In addition, there were 16 cases (53.33%)of intestinal peristalsis slowed down in abdominal ultrasonography, and intestinal peristalsis disappeared in 9 cases(30.00%),and ascites was found in 6 cases(20.00%).ConclusionThe use of abdominal ultrasonography in the diagnosis of NEC compared with abdominal X-ray has a better effect on the detection of intestinal wall gas and portal venous gas, which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
