Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of nerve stimulator in interscalene brachial plexus block. Methods From May 2015 to May 2016,64 patients undergone upper limb surgery treated by our hospital were selected.According to different anesthetic method for block in interscalene brachial plexus, they were evenly divided into two groups:control group(traditional blind probe for block anesthesia,n=32)and research group(nerve stimulator for block anesthesia,n=32).The block effect and related indexes between groups was compared respectively. Results After 15-minute anesthetization,VAS score was(0.66±0.43)points in research group and(2.26±0.95)points in control group. The onset time of block was(11.71±2.52)min in research group and(14.77±4.36)min in control group. With regard to incidence rate of adverse reaction in research group,it was 3.13%(1/32),while in control group, the rate was 18.75%(6/32). The above-mentioned index in research group was superior to that in control group with a statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Nerve stimulator can accurately locate the neural position, and microcurrent stimulation can facilitate drug absorption, shorten the onset time of block, and avert the adverse reaction due to drug stagnation.
