Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effect of Ziprasidone composite Valproic Acid Sodium in the treatment of refractory schizophrenia.Methods 94 refractory schizophrenia patients from September 2011 to September 2014 in our hospitalwere selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group，47 patients in each group. The control group was given Ziprasidone，and the observation group was given Ziprasidone jointed with Valproic Acid Sodium.The clinical effect and the incidence rate of adverse reaction was compared in the two group.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 2.98%，which was higher than 55.32%of the control group，with significant difference （P＜0.01）.There was no significant difference in the incidence rate of adverse reaction between the two groups（P＞0.05）.Conclusion Ziprasidone composite Valproic Acid Sodium has better clinical curative effect for refractory schizophrenia，and don′t increase the incidence rate of adverse reactions，it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
