Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of pranoprofen combined with polyethylene glycol eye drops in treating keratoconjunctivitis sicca. Methods 80 keratoconjunctivitis sicca patients who treated in our hospital were selected.Patients were randomly divided into study group and control group, and each group was 40 cases.Patients in control group were simply treated with polyethylene glycol eye drops and patients in study group were treated with pranoprofen combined with polyethylene glycol eye drops.Clinical effect in two groups after treatment were compared and analyzed. Results After treatment, the cure rate and effective rate in study group were respectively 52.5%and 97.5%, which were respectively 37.5%and 87.5%in control group, and the difference was statistical significance(P<0.05).The break-up time of tear film (BUT)had no statistical significance in two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the BUT in study group was obvious higher than that of control group, and the difference was statistical significance(P<0.05).The cure rate of patients with conjunctival congestion jealous in study group was 70%,which was 14.29%in control group, and the difference was statistical significance(P<0.05). Conclusion For keratoconjunctivitis sicca patients, the effect of using pranoprofen combined with polyethylene glycol eye drops is more obvious than simply using polyethylene glycol eye drops, and it should be popularize application in clinic.
