| Clinical effect comparison of endoscopic mucosal resection and endoscopic snare high frequency electrotomy in the treatment of colorectal polyps |

Abstract Objective To compare the clinical effect of endoscopic mucosal resection with endoscopic snare high frequency electrotomy in the treatment of colorectal polyps.Methods Eighty patients with colorectal polyps admitted to our hospital from March 2018 to May 2019 were selected as the research objects,they were divided into experimental group and control group according to the random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The experimental group underwent endoscopic mucosal resection,the control group underwent endoscopic snare high frequency electrotomy.The operation time,postoperative hospital stay,polypectomy and complications were compared between the two groups.Results The operation time of the experimental group was (9.28±1.27) min,which was longer than (7.62±1.32)min of the control group,the postoperative hospital stay in the experimental group was (3.42±1.98) d,which was shorter than (4.68±1.80) d of the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).Polypectomy was better in the experimental group than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The total incidence of complications in the experimental group was 5.00%,which was lower than 22.50% in the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion Compared with endoscopic snare high frequency electrotomy,endoscopic mucosal resection for patients with colorectal polyps can shorten the patient′s postoperative hospital stay,improve the patients′ polypectomy,and reduce the incidence of complications,which is worthy of clinical application.
