| Effect of BiPAP ventilator combined with drug in the treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease |

Abstract ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of BiPAP ventilator combined with drug on acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD)and its influence on E-selectin and D-dimer.MethodsFrom September 2013 to February 2017,82 COPD patients in acute exacerbation visited our hospital were enrolled and randomly divided into two groups.In control group(n＝40),conventional medicine was used,while in the observation group (n＝42),noninvasive BiPAP ventilator was added.A course of treatment was lasted for 7 days.The difference of clinical efficacy between the two groups was compared.ResultsAfter treatment,the FEV1/FVC and blood oxygen partial pressure were both increased，while the level of PaCO2,D-dimer,and E-selectin were decreased.The changes in the observation group were more remarkable,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total effectiveness rate in the control group was 75.00%(30/40),and 95.24%(40/42)in the observation group,which was higher in the latter,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).ConclusionCombination of BiPAP and medicine in the treatment of AECOPD obtain a remarkable effect,and can improve the blood gas index and inflammatory reaction,which is worthy of promotion.
