Clinical effect of Tiotropium Bromide combined with Salmeterol and Fluticasone Inhalation in the treatment of silicosis complicated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease |

Abstract Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Tiotropium Bromide combined with Salmeterol and Fluticasone Inhalation in the treatment of silicosis complicated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.Methods From January 2017 to October 2018,60 patients with silicosis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in stable stage treated in Ping Ming General Hospital of Pingxiang City in Jiangxi Province were selected.They were divided into the control group,the observation group and the treatment group according to random number table methods.The control group was given symptomatic treatment,while the observation group was given Tiotropium Bromide Powder inhalation on the basis of the above treatment.On the basis of the observation group,the treatment group received regular inhalation of Salmeterol and Roticasone Inhalation.After 3 months,all subjects completed lung function detection again,such as forced vital capacity (FVC),forced expiratory volume (FEV1),FEV1/FVC,the percentage of forced expiratory volume in the first second to the normal predicted value (FEV1%),and the walking distance of the 6-minute walking test was measured.Results The results of FVC,FEV1,FEV1/FVC,FEV1% and 6-minute walking test in the treatment group after intervention were higher than those in the observation group and the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The results of FVC,FEV1,FEV1% and 6-minute walking test in the observation group after intervention were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Tiotropium Bromide combined with Salmeterol and Fluticasone Inhalation is effective in the treatment of silicosis complicated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.The pulmonary function of patients recovers better.The walking distance of 6-minute walking test is longer,which can be used as the optimal treatment.
