Application effect of visual health education in the nursing of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at stable stage |

Abstract Objective To analyze the effect of visual health education in the nursing of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)in stable period.Methods A total of 120 patients with COPD from July 2016 to June 2017 in our hospital were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method,60 cases in each group.The normal health education was carried out in the control group,and the visual health education was carried out in the observation group.The health knowledge of the two groups and the lung function and quality of life before and after nursing were compared.Results The good rate of health knowledge in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the scores of lung function and quality of life between the two groups before nursing(P>0.05).After nursing,The FEV1,FVC,PEF and FEV1/FVC in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of respiratory symptoms,disease influence and activity ability of the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Visual health education can effectively improve the cognition of patients with COPD in the stable period,and improve the lung function and quality of life.
