Application effect of prefabricated fiber post in prosthodontics |

Abstract ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effect of prefabricated fiber post in oral cavity repair.MethodsFrom October 2015 to October 2016,86 cases of dental patients in our hospital were selected as the research objects.They were divided into experimental group and reference group by random number table method,each group of 43 patients.Patients in the reference group were treated with plastic fiber posts,while those in the experimental group were treated with prefabricated fiber posts.The oral cavity repair success rate,complication rate,operation time of each fiber pile repair and patients′satisfaction of two groups were observed and compared.ResultsThe success rate of repair in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the reference group,the incidence of complications was significantly lower than that of the reference group,and the operation time of each fiber post was significantly shorter than that of the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Satisfaction of patients in experimental group(95.35%)was significantly higher than that of the reference group of patients(83.72%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionThe application of prefabricated fiber post in the treatment of oral cavity repair can shorten the operation time,reduce complications,improve the clinical repair effect and patient satisfaction,and is worthy of further clinical application.
