| The relationship between reproductive tract infection and premature rupture of membranes and its effect on pregnancy outcome |

Abstract Objective To investigate the relationship between reproductive tract infection and premature rupture of membranes and its impact on pregnancy outcome.Methods 100 cases of premature rupture of membranes were selected as the study group from May 2015 to November 2016 in our hospital.100 cases of premature rupture of membranes were selected as the control group.The cervical secretions and vaginal secretions were examined for two groups.The pregnancy outcomes of the two groups,chlamydia,mycoplasma,fungal,bacterial vaginosis and trichomoniasis were observed;the pregnancy outcomes of pregnant women of the two groups were compared;the pregnancy outcomes of different types of pregnant women were compared.Results The infection rate of mold,Trichomoniasis,Mycoplasma,bacterial vaginosis and Chlamydia in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The incidence of premature delivery,neonatal pneumonia,chorioamnionitis,puerperal infection in the study group was higher than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The incidence of preterm delivery,neonatal pneumonia,chorioamnionitis was significantly higher in Mycoplasma positive pregnant women than that in negative pregnant women;the incidence of preterm delivery,neonatal pneumonia,chorioamnionitis,puerperal infection and neonatal asphyxia was significantly higher in Chlamydia positive pregnant women than that in negative pregnant women;the incidence of prematurity,neonatal pneumonia,chorioamnionitis and puerperal infection was significantly higher in mold-positive pregnant women than that in negative pregnant women;pregnant women with bacterial vaginitis had a higher incidence of preterm delivery,puerperal infection,neonatal pneumonia and chorioamnionitis than those without bacterial vaginitis;the incidence of neonatal pneumonia,puerperal infection,premature delivery and chorioamnionitis was significantly higher in trichomonas-positive pregnant women than in trichomonas-negative pregnant women,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Premature rupture of membranes can be induced by genital tract infection,which may increase the risk of premature rupture of membranes,it affects the outcome of pregnancy.
