Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of applying the incentive health education model on the clinical efficacy and health literacy improvement of type 2 diabetes patients in the community.Methods A total of 160 patients with type 2 diabetes who were managed in Xiluoyuan Community Health Service Center,Fengtai District,Beijing from December 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the research subjects,and they were divided into the observation group(n=80)and the control group(n=80)by random number table method.The control group was received routine health education management,and the observation group was received incentive health education mode on the basis of routine management.One year later,the management effect of the two groups was compared.Results There was no statistically significant difference in baseline data(age,gender composition,education level,course of disease,blood sugar,blood pressure,and blood lipid)between the two groups(P>0.05).The observation group′s blood pressure and combined index compliance rate were higher than those of control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The diabetes specific quality of life scale(DSQL)score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The management compliance of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the attainment rate of health literacy standards of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of incentive health education model has a significant effect on the comprehensive management of diabetic patients and it is worth promoting in the community.
