Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the function and effect of comfortable nursing in afterloading intracavity radiotherapy in the patients with cervical cancer.Methods84 patients with cervical cancer who were given afterloading intracavity radiotherapy at the same time of radiotherapy and chemotherapy in the Department of Radiology in our hospital from January 2012 to December 2016 were selected as subjects.According to the admission time, the patients were divided into the control group and the study group, with 42 cases in each group. The control group was hospitalized patients from January 2012 to June 2014 who were given routine care, while the study group was hospitalized patients from July 2014 to December 2016 who were given comfortable care. The satisfaction, vaginal flushing compliance and complications were evaluated and compared between the two groups.ResultsThe patients′satisfaction of the study group (97.62%)was higher than the control group (71.43%),the vaginal flushing compliance was higher than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The patients in the study group had 2 cases of proctitis,1 case of cystitis, while the patients in the control group had 7 cases of vaginal adhesion and stenosis,10 cases of direct enteritis,7 cases of cystitis, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionComfort nursing can improve the treatment initiative and reduce the incidence of complications in the patients with cervical cancer receiving afterloading intracavity radiotherapy,so as to improve the quality of life, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
