Abstract:Objective To explore the relationship between the change of nitric oxide(NO),nitric oxide synthase(NOS)and hydrogen sulfide (H2S)level in infants with mild Rotavirus enteritis accompanied with benign convulsions. Methods A total of 50 children diagnosed as mild Rotavirus enteritis accompanied with benign convulsion in Shenyang Children′s Hospital from September 2015 to April 2017 were selected as the observation group in Shenyang Children′s Hospital, and 50 children with simple mild Rotavirus enteritis were selected as the control group at the same time. The clinical features, routine laboratory tests, and NO,NOS,H2S changes in children of the two groups and convulsion characteristics of the observation group were observed. Results There was no significant difference in clinical characteristics, routine laboratory examination and NO level between the two groups(P>0.05).The serum NOS level of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the serum H2S level was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion The occurrence of mild rotavirus enteritis with benign convulsion is independent of NO level, and is related to NOS and H2S level, and it suggests that the incidence of benign convulsions in children with mild Rotavirus enteritis can be predicted by changes in serum NOS and H2S level.
