Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of Sertraline combined with family therapy on adolescent patients with depression. Methods Eighty adolescent patients with depression who were admitted to the Third People′s Hospital of Ji′an City from January 2020 to October 2020 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into the joint group and the single group by numerical odd-even method, with 40 cases in each group. Patients in the combined group were treated with Sertraline+family therapy, and patients in the single group were treated with Sertraline. Summary coping style questionnaire (SCSQ) score and Hamilton depression scale (HAMD) score were compared between the two groups. Results Before treatment, there were no statistically significant differences in positive coping style score and negative coping style score between the combined group ([1.75±0.61],[2.70±0.56] points) and the single group ([1.77±0.63],[2.75±0.57] points) (P>0.05). After treatment, the positive coping style score of the combined group ([2.25±0.45]points) was higher than that of the single group ([1.95±0.53] points),and the negative coping style score ([1.85±0.61]points)was lower than that of the single group ([2.71±0.43] points),the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in HAMD score between the combined group ([25.49±2.29] points) and the single group ([25.53±2.32] points) (P>0.05). After treatment, the HAMD score of the combined group ([8.52±1.11] points) was lower than that of the single group ([13.45±1.99] points),and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of Sertraline and family therapy can significantly improve the positive coping style and negative coping style of adolescent depressive disorder patients, and improve depression.
