Abstract:Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of Yupingfeng Granule on recurrent respiratory tract infection in children. Methods A total of 100 children with recurrent respiratory tract infection admitted to Jingdezhen First People′s Hospital from May 2019 to May 2020 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into observation group (50 cases) and control group (50 cases) by random number table method. The control group was treated with conventional treatment, and the observation group was treated with Yupingfeng Granule on the basis of the control group. The treatment effect, occurrence of respiratory tract infection, symptom improvement time and blood indicators of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of observation group was 98.00%, higher than 86.00% of control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total incidence rate of respiratory tract infection in the observation group was 24.00%, lower than that in the control group (44.00%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The improvement of fever, cough and pharyngeal red symptoms and the disappearance of lung rales in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in serum immunoglobulin level between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of IgG, IgA and IgM in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion In the treatment of recurrent respiratory tract infection in children, the addition of Yupingfeng Granule on the basis of conventional symptomatic treatment can further improve the curative effect and shorten the improvement time of symptoms.
