Objective To explore the effect of high quality nursing intervention based on humanistic care in elderly patients with severe pneumonia.Methods From January 2019 to December 2019,86 elderly patients with severe pneumonia treated in Dalian Port Hospital were selected.They were divided into routine group and study group according to their order of visits,43 cases in each group.The routine group carried out routine nursing measures during the symptomatic treatment.According to the concept of ″people-oriented″,the study group further applied humanistic care as the main quality nursing intervention.The changes of psychological state before and after intervention were compared,the incidence of secondary infection,respiratory failure,pneumonia shock and other complications were counted,and the satisfaction of patients with nursing services was investigated.Results After intervention,the scores of self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scace (SDS) in the two groups were lower than those before intervention,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05）,and the scores of anxiety and depression in the study group were lower than those in the routine group (P＜0.05）.Complications in the study group were lower than those in the routine group，and nursing satisfaction was higher than that in the routine group，the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05）.Conclusion The elderly patients with severe pneumonia are more serious,and the humanistic care-based quality nursing intervention is helpful to improve the psychological mood of the patients,reduce the occurrence of related complications,and the patients′ satisfaction is better.
