Abstract Objective To investigate the clinical effectiveness of Morphine Sulfate Sustained Release Tablets and Cinobufagin Capsules in the treatment of advanced liver cancer. Methods A total of 60 patients with advanced liver cancer admitted to the Department of Oncology in the Ji′an First People′s Hospital from January 2018 to July 2020 were selected as the analysis subjects, and they were randomly divided into the reference group (30 cases) and the experimental group (30 cases) according to their serial numbers. The reference group was treated with routine chemotherapy combined with Morphine Sulfate Sustained Release Tablets. The experimental group was treated with routine chemotherapy combined with Morphine Sulfate Sustained Release Tablets and Cinobufagin Capsules. The total effective rate,Karnofsky life function assessment scale (KPS) and Chinese version of numeric rating analog pain scale(NRS) scores were compared between the two groups, and the total incidence of adverse reactions was compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of experimental group (93.33%)was higher than that of reference group (63.33%),and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Before treatment, there were no statistical significance in KPS and NRS scores between the two groups (P>0.05).After treatment, the KPS scores of two groups were higher than those before treatment, the NRS scores of two groups were lower than those before treatment, the KPS score of experimental group was higher than that in the control group, and the NRS score of experimental group was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no statistical significance in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of Morphine Sulfate Sustained Release Tablets and Cinobufagin Capsules in the treatment of patients with advanced liver cancer has significantly enhanced the functional recovery and pain relief of patients, and has less adverse reactions in clinical application, which is worthy of promotion.
