Abstract [Abstract]Objective To compare the clinical effect of stent-assisted and double microcatheter in the treatment of intracranial wide-necked aneurysms. Methods A total of 60 patients with intracranial wide necked aneurysms admitted to Huizhou Central People′s Hospital from June 2016 to June 2020 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into the observation group (30 cases) and the control group (30 cases) according to random number table method.Patients in the observation group were treated with double microcatheter technology, and patients in the control group were treated with stent-assisted treatment. The scores of neurological impairment, life activity scores, hospital stay, prognosis, and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, there was no significant difference in neurological deficit score and living activity score between the two groups (P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the length of stay and prognosis between the two groups (P>0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Stent-assisted and double microcatheter technique can achieve ideal results in the treatment of intracranial wide carotid aneurysms, and the prognosis is good, which can improve the living ability of patients and alleviate the degree of nerve function defect. However, the double microcatheter technique has a lower complication rate,so the safety of this treatment scheme is more prominent, and the appropriate treatment method can be selected according to the actual situation of the patients.
