Abstract Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Ticagrelor combined with Aspirin in the treatment of mild acute ischemic stroke. Methods A total of 80 patients with mild acute ischemic stroke admitted to the Second People′s Hospital of Yichun City from July 2019 to June 2020 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the experimental group (40 cases) and the control group (40 cases) according to random number table method. The experimental group was treated with Ticagrelor tablets combined with Aspirin tablets, while the control group was treated with Clopidogrel tablets combined with Aspirin tablets. The degree of neurological impairment and the ability of daily living were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the national institutes of health stroke scale(NIHSS) score was lower than that before treatment, and Barthel index was higher than that before treatment, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the NIHSS score of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group, and the Barthel index was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reaction between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of Ticagrelor and Aspirin in the treatment of mild acute ischemic stroke can reduce the degree of neurological function impairment, improve the independence of patients in daily life, without increasing the toxic and side effects, which is worthy of clinical promotion
