Effect of hypertonic sodium chloride solution in the treatment of hemorrhagic shock |

Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of hypertonic sodium chloride solution in the treatment of hemorrhagic shock. Methods A total of 82 patients with hemorrhagic shock admitted to Shenyang Medical College from November 2018 to November 2019 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table,they were divided into the control group (41 cases) and the observation group (41 cases).The control group was treated with conventional treatment,the observation group was treated with hypertonic sodium chloride solution on the basis of conventional treatment.The blood transfusion volume,total transfusion volume,resuscitation time,hemoglobin concentration,blood pressure and heart rate,serum nitric oxide (NO),integrin β2-chain (CD18) content,complications,and death were compared between the two groups. Results The blood transfusion and total infusion of the observation group were less than those of the control group,and the recovery time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The hemoglobin concentration and blood pressure of the observation group after treatment were higher than those of the control group,the heart rate of the observation group after treatment was lower than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The levels of serum NO and CD18 of the observation group after treatment were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence of complications and mortality in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of hypertonic sodium chloride solution in the treatment of patients with hemorrhagic shock can help reduce blood transfusion,shorten recovery time,increase hemoglobin concentration and blood pressure,reduce complications,and help stabilize vital signs and improve prognosis.
