Efficacy observation of Bacillus licheniformis in the assistant treatment of Helicobacter pylori infection in children |

Abstract ObjectiveTo observe the efficacy of Bacillus licheniformis in the assistant treatment of Helicobacter pylori(Hp)infection in children.MethodsFrom March 2014 to March 2016,168 children meeting the diagnostic criteria of Hp infection treated in our hospital were selected as subjects.By random sequence method,they were evenly divided into experimental group A and experimental group B and control group,56 cases in each group.All patients were provided with conventional quadruple therapy for 2 weeks:50 mg/(kg·d)Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium(divide the drug into two times),20 mg/(kg·d)Clarithromycin (divide the drug into two times),0.8 mg/(kg·d)Omeprazole (take in the morning),and 8 mg/(kg·d)Colloidal Bismuth Subsitrate(divided into 3 times,before meals).In the experimental group A,live Bacillus licheniformis was used besides the conventional treatment,0.5 g each time,thrice a day,oral administration after meals.In the experimental group B,on the basis of the conventional treatment,Weisu Granule was added with 5 g each time,3 times per day.The treatment effect of 2 weeks after treatment was compared with that of the three groups,and the change of Hpδ value and the recurrence rate of 2 weeks and 4 weeks after treatment were compared.ResultsAfter 2 weeks of treatment,the symptoms of the three groups were all improved,and the total effective rate of treatment for children in group A and group B was significantly higher than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The cure rate of the experimental group A was significantly higher than that of control group and experimental group B,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),while the cure rate of experimental group B was compared with the control group B,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After 2 weeks and 4 weeks after treatment,the experimental group A with Hpδ value was lower than the control group and experimental group B,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),the experimental group B with Hpδ value was compared with control group,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The recurrence rates of experimental group A was significantly lower than that of the control group and experimental group B,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),the recurrence rate of experimental group B was compared with control group,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).ConclusionBacillus licheniformis assisted treatment of Hp infection in children obtains a remarkable effect,which can increase the eradication rate and reduce the recurrence rate.It is worthy of application and promotion.
