Development and application of standardized training program for trainee nurses in otolaryngology department |

Abstract Objective To explore the formulation and application effect of standardized training program for trainee nursing students in otolaryngology department.Methods Thirty nursing students in the Department of Otolaryngology,Mindong Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University from May to June 2019 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into control group(15 students)and observation group(15 students).The control group received conventional training method,and the observation group received standardized training program.The qualified rate of examination results,nursing teaching results and clinical evaluation scores of the two groups were compared.Results The qualified rate of the observation group was 100%,which was higher than 86.6% of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The results of nursing teaching in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The clinical evaluation scores of observation group were higher than those of control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The development and implementation of standardized training programs for otolaryngology nursing interns have a significant effect,which can effectively improve the training effect of interns,improve nursing teaching performance and clinical evaluation scores,and facilitate them to better carry out otolaryngology specialist nursing work.
