Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Liraglutide in the treatment on type 2 diabetes mellitus, and its effect on glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), blood glucose, body weight and triglyceride (TG).Methods A total of 100 patients with type 2 diabetes admitted to the First Department of Internal Medicine in Dongguan Fenggang Hospital from January 2019 to January 2020 were selected for the prospective study.They were divided into control group (50 cases)and observation group (50 cases) according to the random number table method.The control group was treated with Metformin, while the observation group was treated with Liraglutide.HbA1c, blood glucose, Body mass index (BMI) and TG were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results There were no significant differences in fasting blood glucose (FPG) and 2 h postprandial blood glucose (2 h PG) between the two groups before treatment (P＞0.05).The FPG and 2 h PG of two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, and the FPG and 2 h PG of observation group after treatment were lower than those of control group, the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).There were no significant differences in HbAlc, BMI and TG between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05).HbAlc, BMI and TG of two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, while HbA1c, BMI and TG of observation group after treatment were lower than those of control group, the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion Liraglutide treatment has a remarkable clinical effect on type 2 diabetes mellitus,which is worthy of reference and promotion in clinical practice.It can also effectively reduce the indicators of HbAlc,blood glucose, BMI and TG.
