Clinical study on the treatment of pneumoconiosis after lavage with oxygen atomization inhalation combined with non-invasive expectoration machine |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of oxygen atomization inhalation combined with non-invasive expectoration machine in the treatment of pneumoconiosis.Methods The clinical data of 80 patients with pneumoconiosis who were treated with small volume lung lavage from June 2018 to December 2019 were analyzed retrospectively.According to the different treatment methods, they were divided into group A (40 cases) and group B (40 cases).Group A was treated with oxygen atomization inhalation combined with non-invasive expectoration machine, and group B with single oxygen atomization inhalation.The lung function, blood gas analysis index and clinical symptom score of the two groups were compared after 5 days of treatment.Results Carbon monoxide dispersion (DLCO), forced expiratory volume in 1 second(FEV1), total lung (TLC) levels in group A were (8.34±1.65) mmol/(min·kPa), (4.55±0.77) L, (8.71±2.12) L, higher than group B (DLCO: [7.24±2.82] mmol/(min·kPa), FEV1: [3.89±1.16] L, TLC: [7.52±1.67] L), the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Blood oxygen saturation (SaO2), oxygen partial pressure (PaO2) levels in Group A were(96.12±3.15)%, (97.42±8.07) mmHg, higher than group B (SaO2: [93.17±5.68]%, PaO2: [91.37±6.64] mmHg), the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); the clinical symptom score of group A was (1.75±0.62) points, which was lower than that of group B ([2.56±1.01] points), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of oxygen atomization inhalation and non-invasive expectoration machine can reduce the clinical symptoms, improve the lung function and blood gas analysis index, improve the patients′ tolerance to lung lavage, and facilitate the early recovery.
