Abstract Objective To explore the clinical effect of Metformin in the treatment of nonalcoholic fatty liver.Methods Sixty patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver admitted to our hospital from April 2018 to April 2019 were randomly divided into control group and experimental group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Polyene Phosphatidylcholine,and the experimental group was supplemented with Metformin on the basis of the control group.The therapeutic effect,liver function index,blood lipid level and insulin resistance index before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was 93.3%,higher than 70.0% of the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase,triglyceride,total cholesterol and insulin resistance index in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Metformin assisted treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver can improve the therapeutic effect of patients,improve the liver function index and blood lipid level of patients,which is worthy of clinical application.
