Management effectiveness of antibacterial agents in the prevention of perioperative period of clean incision |

Abstract Objective To analyze the management effectiveness of antibacterial agents in the prevention of perioperative period of clean incision.Methods A total of 1863 patients who underwent clean incision surgery in our hospital from October 2014 to September 2016 were selected as subjects.Altogether 902 patients before the intervention from October 2014 to September 2015 were selected as the control group,and 961 patients who underwent comprehensive intervention from October 2015 to September 2016 were selected as the study group.The clinical data of comprehensive intervention to strengthen the use of antibacterial agents before and after management were compared and analyzed to explore the management effectiveness.Results The rate of prophylactic antibacterial use in the study group was 27.26%(262/961),which was lower than that in the control group(53.88%[486/902]),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The rate of drug use within 30 min to 1 h before surgery in the study group was 97.71%,which was higher than that in the control group(71.19%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of prophylactic antibacterial use lower than 24 h in the study group was 85.11%,which was higher than that in the control group(80.25%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The average time of prophylactic antibacterial use in the study group was(1.47±0.23)d,which was shorter than that in the control group([5.18±1.45]d),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).For the selection of varieties of antibacterial drugs,the past empirical application of restricted antibacterial drugs such as Cefoxitin,Cefathiamidine and Cefotiam,have been changed to the standard application of the first and second generation of non-restricted Cephalosporins such as Cefazolin and Cefuroxime.Conclusion The comprehensive intervention management for prophylactic antibacterial use in clean incisions during perioperative period is beneficial for standardized prophylactic antibacterial use.This management mode needs to be extensively promoted and applied.
