Optimization of water extraction technology of Shiwei Ehuang Granules by multi-index comprehensive evaluation method |

Abstract Objective To study the optimization and quality control of water extraction process of Shiwei Ehuang Granules.MethodsAstragaloside A,Magnolin,Saikosaponin A and total extract of Shiwei Ehuang Granules were taken as the indexes and comprehensive evaluation.The orthogonal design was applied to investigate the effect of water addition,water extraction times and boiling time on the product water extraction process,and to determine the optimal water extraction process for Shiwei Ehuang Granules.Results The optimum water extraction process of Shiwei Ehuang Granules was to add 14 times the amount of water to the medicinal materials,and decoct three times for 1 h each time.The average content of Astragaloside A,Saikosaponin A,and Magnolia extracted from dry paste extracted by this process was respectively 5.78,1.78 and 3.30 mg/g,and RSD was 1.56%,2.77%and 0.61% (n=3).Conclusion The optimized water extraction process of Shiwei Ehuang Granules has good reproducibility and stable quality,and is suitable for mass production.Therefore,the water extraction process is reasonable and feasible.
