Abstract ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical efficacy of different doses of Ambroxol Hydrochloride in the treatment of stroke-related pneumonia in the elderly.MethodsA total of 90 patients with acute stroke were diagnosed as SAP in our hospital from January 2016 to June 2017.They were randomly divided into low-dose Ambroxol Hydrochloride group (low-dose group 30 cases),high-dose Ammonia Bovine group(high-dose group 30 cases)and control group(30 cases). The control group receivedonly routine antibiotic therapy.Ambroxol Hydrochloride group was supplemented with different doses of Ambroxol Hydrochloride,and the antibiotic use time,fever time,hospitalization time,arterial oxygen partial pressure,C-reactive protein and bacterial clearance rate,analyed of three groups of clinical efficacy.ResultsThe total effective rate of high-dose group and low-dose group was higher than that of control group (P<0.05),and high-dose group was higher than low-dose group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The antibiotic use time,fever time and hospitalization time of the high dose group and low dose group were significantly shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05),and the high dose group was shorter than that of low dose group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The high dose group was higher than that of low dose group(P<0.05),and the high dose of group and low dose group was higher than that of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in C-reactive protein between the three groups(P>0.05).The bacterial clearance ratein the high-dose group was 90.27%and the low-dose group was 68.51%.The bacterial clearance rate in the control group was 57.80%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of clinical adverse reactions between the three groups(P>0.05).ConclusionsHigh-dose Ambroxol Hydrochloride in the treatment of stroke-related pneumonia in elderly patients with significant effect,can improve bacterial clearance,and clinical safer, worthy of promotion and application.
