| Investigation of the immune prevention status and hepatitis B virus infection for preschool children in the Jiangcheng district of Yangjiang city |

Abstract Objective To explore the status of hepatitis B virus infection and hepatitis B vaccination among preschool children in Jiangcheng district of Yangjiang city. Methods 12 174 preschool children aged 3～6 in 21 public and private kindergartens in Jiangcheng district of Yangjiang city from April 2013 to April 2015 were selected and divided into grodeⅠ, gradeⅡand gradeⅢaccording to vaccination status of hepatitis B vaccine,the test data of hepatitis B virus serum markers（HBsAg,Anti-HBs）. Results In the 12 174 preschool children,the positive rate of HBsAg and Anti-HBs was 0.74％and 86.74％respectively.The positive rate of HBsAg was 0.84％in male and 0.64％in female,there was no significant difference between different genders（P＞0.05）.The positive rate of HBsAg in gradeⅠwas lower than that gradeⅡand gradeⅢ,the positive rate of HBsAg in gradeⅡwas lower than that in gradeⅢ,with significant difference（P＜0.05）.The positive rate of Anti-HBs in gradeⅠwas higher than that gradeⅡand gradeⅢ,the positive rate of Anti-HBs in gradeⅡwas higher than that in gradeⅢ,with significant difference（P＜0.05）. Conclusion The infection rate is lower in preschool children in Jiangcheng district of Yangjiang city,and the rate of hepatitis B vaccine immunization and the positive rate of protective antibody（anti-HBs）in the serum are higher.
