Clinical effect of arthroscopy assisted percutaneous balloon expansion of bone cement filling treating Schatzker type Ⅱand Ⅲtibial plateau fracture

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effect of arthroscopy assisted percutaneous balloon expansion of bone cement filling treating Schatzker type Ⅱand Ⅲtibial plateau fracture.Methods A total of 45 patients with Schatzker typeⅡand Ⅲtibial plateau fracture admitted to Baiyun District Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Guangzhou from February 2015 to May 2019 were selected as the research objects.The patients were divided into the control group(22 cases)and the observation group(23 cases)according to the random number table method.The control group was treated with open reduction and internal fixation,and the observation group was treated with arthroscopy assisted percutaneous balloon expansion of bone cement filling.The surgical indexes,the total incidence of adverse reactions,wound healing,visual analogue scale(VAS)score and hospital for special surgery knee(HSS)score were compared between the two groups.Results The operation time,incision length and hospitalization time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,the intraoperative bleeding volume in the observation group was less than that in the control group,the total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the wound healing in the observation group was better than that in the control group,the VAS score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the HSS score in the observation group was higher than in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Arthroscopy assisted percutaneous balloon expansion of bone cement filling on Schatzker type Ⅱand Ⅲtibial plateau fracture could achieve good clinical effect.It is helpful to optimize the operation indexes,shorten the treatment time,reduce the incidence of postoperative dysplasia and pain,and promote the recovery of knee joint function,have low cost-performance.It is worth promoting.
