Clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine foot bath combined with Hongjin Xiaojie Capsules on the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea with qi stagnation and blood stasis

Abstract：Objective To investigate the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) foot bath combined with Hongjin Xiaojie Capsules on the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea with qi stagnation and blood stasis.Methods A total of 60 patients with primary dysmenorrhea of qi stagnation and blood stasis who treated in Guangzhou Hospital of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine from June 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the research objects and divided into the control group and the observation group according to random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was given Hongjin Xiaojie Capsules.The observation group was given TCM foot bath on the basis of the control group.After 3 menstrual cycles of treatment,the TCM syndrome score,therapeutic effect and hemorheology indexes of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores,whole blood viscosity high shear 200/s,whole blood viscosity low shear 1/s,plasma viscosity and erythrocyte aggregation index of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,the erythrocyte electrophoresis time was shorter than that before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores,whole blood viscosity high shear 200/s,whole blood viscosity low shear 1/s,plasma viscosity and erythrocyte aggregation index of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,the erythrocyte electrophoresis time was shorter than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group (90.00%) was higher than that of the control group (56.67%),and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion TCM foot bath combined with Hongjin Xiaojie Capsules on the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea with qi stagnation and blood stasis can improve the TCM syndrome and hemorheology indexes of patients,and has good curative effect.
