Retrospective analysis of pre-interventions for irrational prescriptions of outpatient clinics in our hospital

Abstract:Objective To understand the pre-interventions for irrational prescriptions in outpatient clinics and to promote rational use of drugs in outpatient clinics.Methods The unreasonable prescriptions in outpatient clinics with preinterventions of Cancer Hospital of General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University from January to December 2016 were collected,classified,counted and evaluated,and the causes and avoidance measures were analyzed.Results According to statistics,in 403 unreasonable prescriptions with pre-intervention,352 prescriptions were not standardized,44 prescriptions were not suitable for medication,7 were abnormal prescriptions,and 327 prescriptions recommended by pharmacists were accepted by physicians,with an intervention success rate of 81.14%.Conclusion Through pharmacist review,pre-intervention of unreasonable prescriptions can reduce and prevent the occurrence of irrational use of drugs in a timely manner,thereby effectively ensuring the quality of prescriptions and regulating the safety and rationality of patient medication.
