Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of aerobic exercise in patients with chronic heart failure. Methods Eighty patients with chronic heart failure treated in our hospital from March 2017 to December 2018 were selected as research subjects. They were divided into observation group and control group according to the complete randomization, with 40 cases in each group. In the observation group, basic medicine combined with aerobic exercise was used, and in the control group, basic medicine alone was applied. The 6-minute walking distance, diastolic blood pressure, systolic blood pressure, heart rate, left ventricular ejection fraction, and quality of life scores including mental health, general condition, energy, physical function were compared between the two groups. Results The 6-minute walking distance after treatment in the observation group was longer than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The diastolic pressure, systolic pressure and heart rate after treatment in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The left ventricular ejection fraction after treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of mental health, general condition, energy and physical function after treatment in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Aerobic exercise can effectively prolong the 6-minute walking distance of patients with chronic heart failure and improve their cardiac function, which is worth popularizing and applying.
