Abstract:Objective To explore the value of carotid ultrasound combined with transcranial Doppler (TCD) in the diagnosis of ischemic cerebrovascular disease.Methods From July 2016 to March 2018, 80 cases of suspected ischemic cerebrovascular disease were examined.The examination methods were digital subtraction angiography (DSA) and carotid ultrasound combined with TCD.The inspection results of the two methods were counted and compared in groups.The DSA examination was used as the "gold standard" to calculate the sensitivity, specificity, and diagnostic compliance rate of the joint examination.Results Of the 80 cases, 71 cases (88.75%) were detected by DSA, 66 cases(82.50%) were detected by carotid ultrasound combined with TCD, and there was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the degree of stenosis between the two methods (P>0.05).The sensitivity, specificity and diagnostic accuracy of carotid ultrasound combined with TCD were 91.55%, 88.89% and 91.25%, respectively.Conclusion Diagnosis of ischemic cerebrovascular disease by carotid ultrasound combined with TCD, the sensitivity and diagnostic coincidence rate are higher, it is simple and safe to operate, has no obvious wound to patient, and has certain clinical popularization value.
