Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE)combined with microwave ablation in the treatment of liver cancer. Methods Thirty-six patients with liver cancer admitted to our hospital from June 2014 to October 2015 were selected as the study subjects, they were divided into control group and study group according to random number table method, with 18 cases in each group, the control group was treated with TACE and the study group was treated with TACE combined with microwave ablation. The short-term and long-term effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total necrosis rate of tumors(83.33%)in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group(16.67%)after 2 months of treatment, the difference was significant(P<0.05).The partial necrosis rate (16.67%)in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group(83.33%)after 2 months of treatment, the difference was significant(P<0.05).The one-year survival rate of the study group(83.33%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(44.44%),the difference was significant(P<0.05).The two-year survival rate of the study group(44.44%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(5.56%),the difference was significant(P<0.05).Conclusion TACE combined with microwave ablation in the treatment of liver cancer has a high rate of complete necrosis and good short-term and long-term efficacy, which is worthy of clinical application.
